(B) ST36 is located on the anterior aspect of the leg, on the line connecting ST35 with ST41, 3 B-cun inferior to ST35. ST36 is located on the tibialis anterior muscle. (C) ST36 is vertically located at the one the line connecting ST35 with ST41, 3 B-cun inferior to ST35. This acupoint can be located horizontally between the two muscles, tibialis anterior and extensor hallucis longus muscle, according to both classical and contemporary literature.
