The red circle in the left body is an example of the Ashi point in the shoulder area, which was detected by the physician’s palpation and patient’s discomfort. The red areas are the location with pain and tenderness. The right body is marked with the acupoint GB21, which can be detected by anatomical features. The GB21 is located in the middle of an imaginary line that connects the acromion and the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra.
